Alchemy
The object of the game is to turn the entire board to gold by arranging Runes of different colors and shapes. At the start of the game, place an individual Rune adjacent to the central gray block already on the board (you can't place Runes diagonally). Begin placing other Runes next to those that match in shape, color, or both. If you can't find an empty spot next to a matching Rune, you may click the right mouse button to discard. But keep an eye on the Forge--it will overflow and end the game if you discard too many times without placing a Rune. Completing an entire column or row of Runes will remove that group from the board and give you more room to maneuver. When every square has been turned to gold, you'll receive a bonus for clearing the board. How many boards can you clear?
Recommended System Requirements
Special Runes
In Alchemy, there are two special Runes: a gray block and a skull with cross bones. The gray block is a wild piece; it can be placed adjacent to any Rune, regardless of shape or color. Use this piece wisely, because the gray block can help you either start or remove a column or row. The skull with cross bones will remove any placed Rune on the board, so it frees you up when you hit those trouble spots on the board.
These two special Runes appear randomly throughout the game. As you clear more boards to go to higher rounds, these Runes will appear less frequently, so use them very carefully!
Scoring
The points are based on a multiplier depending on the skill level you're playing. It's x.5 (one half) for skill level 1, x1 for skill level 2 and x2 for skill level 3. You get more points if you're turning a gray square to gold, and more points depending on how many pieces (or Runes) are next to the played piece (or Rune).
If you're turning a gray square to gold, you get points based on how many other Runes are adjacent to the played piece, multiplied by the level multiplier:
| Zero Runes | 10 points |
| One Rune | 10 points |
| Two Runes | 30 points |
| Three Runes | 60 points |
| Four Runes | 100 points |
For example, if you're playing at skill level 1 and you're placing the very first Rune on the board, then you get 5 points (10 pts. * 0.5 for skill level 1). When you place another Rune next to it then you get 5 points (10 pts * 0.5 for skill level 1) and if you place another Rune so that two of its sides tough the other two Runes, then you get 15 points (30 pts. * 0.5 for skill level 1). So for skill level 2, you just change the multiplayer from 0.5 to 1 and for skill level 3, the multiplier changes from 0.5 to 2.
If the square is already gold, the amount you receive is decreased, and affected by the level multiplier:
| Zero Runes | 2 points |
| One Rune | 2 points |
| Two Runes | 4 points |
| Three Runes | 6 points |
| Four Runes | 8 points |
If you fill a row OR column and the last Rune placed covers a gray square, then you receive 100 points (times the skill level multiplier). If it is already gold, then you get 10 (times the skill level multiplier). These points are added to the points gained by simply placing the Rune.
If you fill a row AND column and the last piece placed is not gold, then you receive 300 points (times the skill multiplier), if it's already gold, then you get 30 (times the skill level multiplier).

Bonus points = (1,000 + 250 * number of boards cleared) * skill level multiplier
DynomiteEndless Puzzle
Clear eggs by matching three or more of the same color. The wall of eggs will never stop falling so you have to match fast. Watch the timekeeper closely (he's sitting on the right). When time runs out, Whirley will try to add an egg color. Hit him before he reaches the top! The game will end if the eggs reach the bottom.
Stomped Puzzle
Clear eggs by matching three or more of the same color. Every egg you use makes Mama Brontosaurus angry. The meter on the right shows how angry mama is. When it reaches the top, she'll stomp on the puzzle and bring the eggs down a notch. Clear all the eggs to move up a level. The game will end if the eggs reach the bottom.
How to Play Dynomite
Choose
Endless Puzzle or Stomped Puzzle and click Next
.
Select Easy, Normal or Hard and click Play!
Move your mouse to aim the egg in the slingshot. Click the left
mouse button to fling the egg. The egg will stick onto the first
egg it touches. You can ricochet eggs off the walls for trick
shots. Watch the nervous dinosaur next to the slingshot. He
holds the next egg you will be firing. Pay attention to the
color he is holding and use it to plan ahead.
Match three or more like-colored eggs to clear the eggs from the wall and earn points. Clear several color groups in sequence and you will earn combo bonus points.
Bonus tags will appear on random eggs. Release the egg with
the bonus item and you will get a helper bonus. Some bonuses
have a time limit and the bonus icon will circle around the
timekeeper while the bonus is active. The bonuses include:
A light bulb bonus produces guide marker showing you where an
egg will land
core multipliers will double, triple or quadruple any points
you earn
A lift bonus temporarily lifts the egg wall, giving you some
room to breathe
A widen bonus moves the walls of the puzzle out
A narrow bonus moves the wall of the puzzle in
Virtual eggs have a number on them and will count as that many
eggs when cleared.
Endless Puzzle
A wall of eggs will be descending on you from the minute you
start the game. Your goal is to match three or more like-colored
eggs to help clear keep the eggs from reaching the bottom.
You are also fighting the clock: A timekeeping dinosaur sits to the right on an hourglass. When the sand reaches the top, the timekeeper will announce that Whirley's comin' and Whirley will fly up from the bottom of the screen, holding a new colored egg. Hit Whirley before he reaches the top or the new egg color will be added.
Random eggs will vibrate momentarily. If you can clear the shaking egg a baby dinosaur will be set free and will give you a special bonus.
Stomped Puzzle
Clear the board of eggs to advance to the next level. The more
eggs you use in this process, the angrier Mama Brontosaurus
becomes. Get her mad enough and she will put her foot down and
lower the egg wall by a notch! If the eggs touch the bottom,
the game will be over.
When you clear the board of eggs you will move up a level. Some levels will add a new egg color.
